HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY!
First off, a huge hug and thank you to all servicemen and women out there (past and present) who keep our country safe and protect those freedoms which allow me to post recipes for alcoholic beverages on the interwebs. I LOVE YOU.
Second, hello dear friends! I totally dropped off the face of the earth this last month, but I have a seriously good reason for it. Wanna hear it? Of course you do!
But first, because this is a food blog I’m going to give you what you really, really want: a new recipe. Aw yea, you know I know you :)
And in true i-love-you-girl fashion, this recipes for a drink. And it’s a good one. If you have a well-stocked liquor cabby and a peach, you’re more than prepared for this baby.

American Peaches (FTY Original)
2oz American Honey whiskey
1oz Peach Schnapps
1 small peach (yellow or white – your preference)
Fill a glass with ice and place it in the freezer for 5 minutes. Remove glass from freezer and, in order, add schnapps, then whiskey. Garnish with peach wedge and enjoy!

I got a new job! I’m still with the same company I was working with before, but I’m now in the position I’d originally envisioned myself in! It’s always nice, not to mention exciting, when your dreams are realized :) So that’s why I’ve been MIA unless you’ve found me on Facebook… and even then I’ve been a little scarce.
Whatever. You know you missed me. And the good news is I’m back and have like a million recipes to share with you :D Cheers all around!
