The Water Lilly

We made it to Friday so you know what that means… It’s cocktail time!

I don’t know if you’ve heard of this little thing called self-control, but its definitely news to me. I mean, what normal person doesn’t blow their entire paycheck on boutique booze from BevMo? Pomegranate tequila. Cucumber-Lime vodka. White chocolate Godiva liqueur. Creme de violette. Hello deliciousness!

The only drawback to being an impulsive buyer is trying to figure out what to do with all the stuff you buy. Have you tried drinking straight creme de violette? It’s not bad actually, but at the price point it’s not really, um, fiscally responsible.

Says the girl who has two more bottles in the liquor cabby ::whompwhomp::

Creme de violette is one of those liquors you don’t notice until you do. Advice: take notice! You need this in your life and you need it now. It pairs particularly well with gin and vodka, and turns your drink the prettiest shade of purple!

You know you want to :)
